Another Item Accomplished From The Life List
Live where a Hibiscus plant will flourish. I finally have my own. I was originally thinking Hawaii, but this will work for now.
Planters With Palms
Outside our house! Makes it look so much more like a home. We are fancy now.
The sound and sight of the carriages going by is just icing on the cake.
Metatarsal Fracture On Tuesday
Means no Rock-N-Roll half-marathon on Sunday:(
Dammit!
On the plus side, 7am is frankly WAY too early to be starting a race . . .

In New Orleans, there is no such thing as starting a party too early.
Our St Louis Street Neighbor's Balcony

Nice Morning on the Levee
This musician was playing Zippity-do-da as we walked up the steps to the river levee this morning. Not a bad way to start the day.
Reykjavik sits and watches as a ferry crosses the Mississippi with the Crescent City Connection in the background.
King Cake Wreath
First time i have seen these. They are wreaths made to look like King Cake, but with the baby on the outside.
Morning Walk
Today Reykjavik chose to deviate from our usual path and take me to the river via Bourbon Street. Lots of smells for a person, it must be almost overwhelming for a dog.
