Don't think you can tell in this shot from our bedroom lanai, but the third wave crest to the right in the picture has to be a good 10ft. That is really big for south shore. Conditions obviously much worse out at sea than here on land. We are having wind but not much rain.
Time to do a run and take a closer look.
